Tubular Thimble 12mm
This thimble is designed for a rope with a thickness of 12mm. Thimbles are placed in the ear made of a rope at its end. It protects the rope against rubbing, and in the case of rigid ropes also against excessive crushing, by giving this ear the desired shape. It is applicable to both metal and plastic or vegetable ropes. The thimble has a gutter along its entire length, in which the rope enters approx. 2/3 of its diameter. The rope may surround the thimble and be clamped, after returning, to the rest of the rope, or the thimble may be woven into a rope.
