Battery Disconnect Switch 150A 12V / 24V – Winch Kill Switch

Manual battery disconnect switch (battery isolator / master switch) for 12V/24V systems. It has a removable red key and a rubber protective cap. It cuts power to your winch and the whole vehicle electrical system in one turn. Rated 150 A continuous and 500 A peak (5 s), with copper contacts and M8 terminal studs.

This battery isolator switch, also called a battery master switch, kill switch or cut-off switch, fully disconnects the battery from the vehicle's electrical equipment. It's essential safety gear for any 4x4 with an electric winch. It also suits passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, trailers, motorhomes, boats and machinery.

Remove the key and the electrical system is isolated. This prevents short circuits, stops the winch from being switched on by accident, and reduces battery drain when the vehicle is parked for a long time. The removable key also works as a simple anti-theft measure.
